CFRE Review Course: Participants Manual
Author: Association of Fundraising Professionals
Publisher: Association of Fundraising Professionals
This Participant Manual/Self-Study Guide is designed to help you review the knowledge, skills and abilities that a development professional with five or more years of fundraising experience should possess. Through textual material, examples, case studies and review questions, the manual will guide you through the AFP Course material, reinforcing the information you already have, expanding on other less familiar concepts, and helping you identify topics for which you may need to acquire more knowledge.<
The Self-Study Manual is comprised of 9 lessons:
1. Why Philanthropy?
2. Current & Prospective Donor Research
3. Marketing & Communications for Fundraising & Development
4. Developing a Comprehensive Solicitation Program
5. Building & Sustaining Relationships
6. Securing the Gift
7. Volunteer Involvement
The manual is designed to provide an overview of fundraising skills, techniques and program components; it is not intended to be a tutorial review for the CFRE Professional Certification Board's Certified Fund Raising Executive examination. Revised in 2009
||Great Asset to exam study
|I used an earlier version of the same manual when I was prepping in 2004 for the exam. It was a great complementary text to Kent Doves Conducting a Successful Fundraising Program. I passed on the first try.
The exam is tough so study hard and know your stuff!|
|This book is good as it is described,
The manual is designed to provide an overview of fundraising skills, techniques and program components; it is not intended to be a tutorial review for the CFRE Professional Certification Boards Certified Fund Raising Executive examination.
This is not a CFRE Prep course and no questions from the test are in it. Dont waste your money if that is what you are looking for.|
